Few things are more exciting in the shop than discovering some new old stock. This Schlitz sign somehow never made it out of the original box, and has been patiently waiting since 1977 to make a warm glowy hum of a Schlitz statement.
This is a rare lettering style for Schlitz. The size is 23" x 9" with steel frame. It's in excellent working vintage condition. There is a pull chain to turn it on and off, and stand-offs on the face to protect the neon because it was meant to hang in a window. Even comes with the original chains and hanging hardware.
